EQUILIBRIUM: In Motion is the second chapter in a story about balance. While Stillness explored the moment before movement — a state of inner focus where strength is born — In Motion turns to how that strength unfolds in interaction with the world. Balance continues to exist within the flow of change. Movement does not disrupt it; with every new state, it takes shape anew.
Work on the collection began with color. It became the first sign of a new chapter. The restrained palette is joined by a deep red — a manifestation of inner energy emerging outward. Alongside it, ivory and black remain, emphasizing light and the textures of the materials.
This chapter continues to explore the Japanese sense of space, imperfection, and the transience of the moment. The silhouettes have become softer and more fluid, while the combination of materials has grown more contrasting. Tailoring viscose, technical nylon, and cotton poplin maintain the clarity of the lines, while matte satin, chiffon, and jersey respond to the slightest movement. Translucent layers, reflections, pleats, and fringe reveal the silhouettes in a new way with every gesture.
The capsule includes a shawl-collar blazer with deep-pleated trousers, a satin top and skirt with translucent layers, an open-back shirt, a twisted-detail bodysuit, paneled capri trousers, and a fringed scarf. The brand’s signature balloon jacket and sculptural puff dress are also reinterpreted in a deep red, offering a new expression of familiar forms.
Change does not contradict balance, nor does it mean losing oneself. Instead, it becomes a natural part of life without compromising one’s inner foundation. EQUILIBRIUM: In Motion is about the ability to change without losing yourself.
